Red Engine is driven by Zannah Mass, an experienced arts administrator, grant-maker, producer and curator of unique cultural experiences. She has worked with visionary artists, theatre companies, collectives, curators, and cultural institutions.


Zannah has worked to bring high calibre art and quality programming to diverse audiences. She is a conduit between artists and audiences, believing that artists deserve more platforms for expression and that there is an opportunity for further public access and exposure to arts and culture. There are art lovers in every community, and the arts can be a catalyst to bring people together and to distill and communicate important ideas.


Before founding Red Engine, Zannah served as Cultural Affairs Director for Two Trees Management Company, overseeing the company's corporate sponsorships and leading cultural initiatives, including programming, producing, and sponsoring public art and multi-disciplinary festivals. She was also charged with marketing cultural events for Dumbo, Brooklyn, bringing art lovers to the evolving neighborhood.


Zannah was also Executive Director of The PlayGround Theatre in Miami and General Manager of the acclaimed St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn.


Zannah has spearheaded cultural tourism and partnerships between creative industries. She has worked with grant-makers and grant-seekers, international cultural attaches and grassroots arts organizations, world-renowned actors and music luminaries as well as emerging artists.


Zannah received her Master of Public Administration (MPA) from New York University and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Michigan.
